Anabel Medrano is a mother, wife, and entrepreneur of multiple local businesses. Born in San Jose, California, she became a Texas transplant as a child and grew up on a ranch in Center Point, where she graduated in 2008. Being an art lover, she chose hair as her canvas and attended Conlee's College of Cosmetology in Kerrville right after high school.
Growing up, Anabel's father was an entrepreneur as a home builder who built many homes locally throughout Kerrville and the Hill Country. Over the years, she witnessed her parents become successful with their own real estate investment businesses which resulted in developing her mindset of, 'If my parents can come from another country and be successful, I have no excuse not to be'. This influenced Anabel into purchasing her first project house at 19 years of age. Since then, she has consistently continued flipping and selling homes. Now, with more than a handful of residential flips under her belt, including farm and ranch projects, Anabel has added commercial real estate to her resume. Recently, Anabel retired from working behind the chair, as she focuses on real estate and music.
Staying active within the community through her current businesses, 1962 Barber Co and La Escondida music venue, has helped Anabel build a strong network of like-minded people. Lovers of art, music, animals, real estate, business, and investing. Thriving off creativity, Anabel loves integrating her resources, knowledge, and experience to get the job done.
Anabel says her unrealistic goal is to save every homeless dog in the world. Her realistic goal is to become active in her community by collaborating with non-profit organizations, such as the Humane Society and Kerrville Pets Alive, in aiding as many local animals as she can find their forever homes.
